Description It's day 7 of Sketchtember and this is my second sketch

As a theme I'm using my collection of postcards of Japanese street fashion by FRUiTS Magazine and sketch the people that are modelling on them.
This is a great opportunity for me to challenge myself in a number of ways:
*Draw on a daily basis, instead of whenever...
*Dusting off my skills when it comes to observational drawing.
*Increasing my drawing speed.

Ha! So much for my drawing speed. This sketch took me way longer than probably was necessary but there were some challenges for me to tackle: the trousers, shoes and face.
Even though it's meant to be a sketch I didn't want to take the easy way out and avoid drawing that plaid pattern. In they end I think I did a decent job.
Somehow the sneakers were tough and needed a few tries; I have to admit that feet/shoes are just not my favourite subject so here's another chance for me to polish my drawing skills.
The face is okay but it isn't an exact likeness. I almost ruined it by trying to change it, so this is the face I'm now sticking with.

This is Yuka (18):   T-shirt: Milk Boy
                            Trousers: handmade
Point of fashion: mixing Japanese culture

Absolutely amazing indeed! Your drawing skills are really fantastic!!!

(please forgive me, but ... only I am always so sad if I see the marvelous artist spoiling his/her wonderful art by some ugly watermark...)

Thank you for your kind words.
I do understand what you mean, and I'm still on the fence if I will keep the watermark within my sketches or not.
I don't use it in my other work but I thought to give it a try and see how it looks. I only once before used the DA watermark in my "Lady Calavera", and that was because I forgot to add my Copyright name before submitting it. She already had received a few faves so I used the watermark instead.
