Sure!
1. Get a plastic egg and cover it in paper mache.
2. Paint it whatever colour you want (e.g. yellow for Amulet Dia!). Make sure the colour is bright and no newspaper is showing! You will have to do more than 1 coat.
3. Draw in the coloured plaid pattern (for Dia it's light brown and bright yellow lines)
4. Draw the black plaid pattern and the thick black stripe around the middle. While doing so, leave shapes (e.g. diamonds for Dia) uncoloured.
5. Make any corrections, then coat the entire egg in a transparent top coat nail varnish.

No, I paper mached some plastic eggs, as I figured making them from clay would have taken too long!
