Biography: Eric Needham is a former acrobat and technician who use to work at the Haly Cirus in Gotham City. One day he decided to quit his job when he told the people that he was having a major drug addictions or other health problems. Eric has started a new life as a hired assassin who works for a private organization in order to kill the most wanted criminals in Gotham and to make a large amount of money for a living. Due to his technical skills and being acrobatic, he began to invent a variety set of weapons or gadgets including of sniper rifles or grappling hooks while he trains himself in martial arts and creating a costume with menacing features. Eric would later become known as Black Spider, a skillful yet dangerous vigilante who would start robberies without ever getting caught and to assassinate criminals or other vigilantes with all of his hand to hand combat and weaponry in order to become one of Gotham City's most dangerous living mercenaries in history. Black Spider would also become an enemy of the costumed crime fighting detective Batman since they both have some things in common but would fight against each other due to their different morals or chosen paths.
