I had no intention of ever taking this this far, but I am super happy with it. Actually shading the background? Check. Inked? Check. Lighting actually looks like lighting? Double check.

I used a completely different scanner than usual, so the usual adjustments I make weren't the right ones, obviously. I played around with it, but I just couldn't get to to look how it looks on the page. I may re-scan it when next I'm home, since I'm more familiar with the scanner there xD

But, as usual, I am open to critique. Just because I love it, doesn't mean I think it's perfect xD

Incredible! This is a true masterpiece. I love the amount of detail you put into it. The shading is to die for. I love how peaceful the dragon looks. He seems incredibly thoughtful. It is very lifelike and well done. I really love that people can tell the time and effort that you put into making this a true piece of art. All the details everywhere you look are amazing I really like it. I might add a tad bit more shading to the mountain but thats the only thing I would change. All in all a beautiful piece of work!

Thank you very, very much for your feedback! I'm glad he came out peaceful. Strong, but at peace, is what he looked like in my mind.

I see what you mean about some of the back shading... something to keep in mind, definitely! I need all the help I can get when it comes to figuring out shading with backgrounds

I bet the shing on tue rock took ages, im hoping to do a detailed scene of an alien of mine wich presents me with several chalenges, i havent got anything planed yet but i know that ive got to get the aliens fur to look good
