Description I wanted to draw something with black ink and decided to do one of my all time favourites: a dragon.

So, here is one fluffy dragon climbing down the rocky mountain side. It's a misty day and only shadows of the mountains can be seen in the background.

This is the first ever successful drawing done only with a drawing nib. I used Nikko G nib and it is far better than any of my previous drawing nibs. Flow of the ink is easy to control and it doesn't splash ink randomly or make discontinuous lumpy lines.

Some shading on the rocks and the whole background are done with graphite pencils.

Took me about 4,5-5,5 hours to finish.

This one looks fun to ride, if he or she would allow it. I'd probably get eated if I tried. Faved

Well, you can try but I can't guarantee the outcome.

I have though of making a picture where somebody rides a dragon. But I just can't draw humans so they often appear to look like a sack of potatoes had been placed on a dragon.

Hmmm... You could always draw a very big dragon so that the human would be so small in comparison that not many details would be needed for the human, just a silhouette.

I had that on my mind too, but I have to think about it.

This looks like it could fit the cover of a heavy metal album.

It indeed could.
