...slithers a colourful snake.

I was positively surprised how well this painting turned out. It was the first painting I made at the beginning of my studies. On top of that it was also the first proper aquarelle painting I had done in years. I have no idea where this kind of skill came from as I hadn't really painted much with aquarelle. From years of working with ink maybe?

This particular work has something else special in it too - it has the first wet-on-wet part (the background) which I made successfully. I really can't understand how I failed so many times before.

Took me about 13-16 hours to finish.
