I have been waiting for this moment. Meaning the moment when I finally submit this in DA.
I made it in August 2009. Artwork has been lying in my folder four and half a years. That some efficiency right there. But I managed to submit it before it spends it's fifth birthday. I should at least be able to publish my work in the same decade I've made them.
I was very proud of this for years. It was the most time consuming and detailed painting I made in the 2009-2010 and at the time I thought it had taken way too long to complete. It took me 10 hours or so and I used to think that only total no-lifes use so much time painting. (Now I spend all my time drawing, painting and watching Netflix... "Life? Never heard of such a thing." )
The artwork's original size is A3. The most used media in it is drawing ink but I also used Inktense colour pencils and watercolours. I spend so much time figuring out which shades of green should be next to each other but I can't anymore see how that was relevant. They are just greens, blues and cold. It's colour combination impossible to mess up.
I'm aware of the wonky yellow teeth and the shortness of the lower jaw compared to the upper jaw but I won't be too upset about it. There is nothing I can do to it anymore (without time machine of course).
