I just got a Wacom tablet (Intuous Touch 5) and I wanted to try it out. Lineart of this picture was only one that was new and finished, so I decided to use it even though it's a bit goofy from some parts. ΒThis painting took me three evenings and one full day to make, but now it's finally complete. The painting is the first digital work I have ever done, so please don't be too harsh to it. (I had no idea what I was doing, I just piled shades and colours and layers on top of each other.)
If anyone knows a great tutorials for digital painting, I'd be glad to see them. I'd appreciate it if you could post a link to the comments.

Thanks. I spend hours colouring those scales. (Would not have taken half as long as it did if I had known what I was doing.)
No, it's not bad. I'm not quite sure about that name either but he did look angrier without colouring. I also thought naming this something such as: "I'm very upset about this" because he looks more like his yelling than roaring and I was pretty upset about this particular work.

Thanks! I made everything in this painting the most difficult and frustrating way possible. It took immense amount of time to get everyhting like I wanted them to be. So it's very, very nice to hear that.
