Acrylic on canvas, 18x24.This was my personal study of aboriginal art in school last year. My main purpose was to employ dot art on the form of an animal in bright colors while still maintaining a natural feel.
I'm sorry about the bad photo quality.

This is so stunning. My sisters doing aboriginal work could you give me some advice for her. She's doing animals. Is there a quicker way of doing dots.

Hey, i really love this, it would look great on my wall
but i have one criticism, i believe only people with an aboriginal background and heritage should paint aboriginal pieces. just out of respect.

Well, I might agree, but I would argue that this artwork is only inspired by aboriginal artwork, which has become both iconic and a part of popular culture. I think that someone better versed in aboriginal art than myself would agree that this is not really aboriginal, just inspired by themes of aboriginal art.
