This is one out of ten portraits of Palestinian figures I will be exhibiting in Rabat this upcoming September.This portrait belongs t the influential modernist Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish. Mahmoud Darwish's poems are known to address the suffering of his people and the occupation of his homeland, Palestine. He has also written about exile, identity, and love. His most famous works are compiled in his Mural, the Butterfly's Burden, Why did you Leave the Horse Alone?, In the Bresence of Absence, State of Siege, and A River Dies of Thirst.
