Just hit the U-Key for next Preset and the Y-Key for previous Preset. Works in windowed and fullscreen mode.

Well, it might have been an exciting year, but it shows also... in a bad way, time has overrun some of these presets and they look a bit old. Granted you wished to keep high fps, but still they look a bit plain in some parts.
It's not all bad, it's just that i waited th-iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii-s much more out of the pack so im disappointed a little.
Overall these are visually some of the better eye candies you see out there and you also had a couple of very cool new ideas (like in oriental, and fast&furious , my 2 favs btw.) It's a great pack and i recommend it to any avs lover, but myself, i expected too much out of it i guess.

I know there are some "old" ideas in here. Some things I did/tried before but now they appear as I always wanted them to. Colormapping, gradients, some better skills in "organizing" presets and blending, etc. made me go for another try on some themes.
Now that I am started looking through the things that went on during my break from AVS I must say there are a lot of nice ideas but lots of them heavily lack fps mostly because of too complex setups ( at least on myPIII/800 ).
These here should run smooth enough on 800x600/32 (with pixeldoubling) even on slower PCs and on faster ones you even might increase resolution. High fps is not only good for smooth movements but also makes the things go better with the music which is the essential thing about AVS I think.

I can't believe I didn't notice that you put out another pack any sooner. I'm downloading now, and what the heck - I'll go ahead and put +fav just because I know it will be the shiznit. Glad to see your back.

- Finally i found some time 2 write the comment, so let's go...
- Skipping a few presets that i personally didn't like and flying straite
into 'transwarp' which i like 2 because of the really good 3D moving starfield but
i do suggest 2 change/modify the colours the same thing goes 2 'zeroGII' tho i liked
the solid-SSC i think the colours lake something, but the solid stripes BG goes good
with the SSC same as in 'lets go robot' that has a very cool idea tho i think
that maybe it should have been tweaked more 2 make it smoother and more colourful,at
least that the robot would be in another colour. After i'ved finishet watching the robot
in the TV i swiched the channel and i saw propebly the best
concepted and executed TV series called 'War' which talked about War and basicly asked
us viewers 2 explain why is it good for ? and it appered that there was no answer 2 that
question, funny ha ?!. Anyway i decided that i should walk around town and maybe go 2
'the tower' and watch the city at night i thought that i should take the '3DSounddrive'
train that goes straite 2 the tower, i specially like 2 use that train since it passes
next 2 my old neighbourhood 'Soundscape III' yay a wierd name but it's a slumhood so
nobody really cares but i still remember my rented place there and of course how i used
2 jump in my '3D soundscape' trempolin, ha those memories .
"All of the 'Soundscape II' station please abored passengers" !
Yay that was the driver, ha almost forgot 2 tell u where already coming
near the station since all of those talking i forgot about it , man the new 'time III'
watch sure doesn't help u when u forget
Now where going through the new and improved 'modern living II', my god what an
architecture, and all of those lights kinda makes my had spin like a 3D 'coil' which
could have been nicer if it had more colours but on the other hand then i would be
really sick as if i'm on some 'liquids'
"Entering the 'mainframe' !".
Tho i kinda dislike it i could meanwhile go 'dreamtime IV' it will propebly won't be like
dreamtiming in my bed 4 the first, second and third time but it'll do 4 now, who knows
maybe i'll dream on a 'cool thing','oriental' or 'another odyssey'
which i totaly like 10x 2 the colours combo and cool SSCs yet again
i might dream about 'giger III' which has a cool idea but scary atmosphire...
"Entering the city !".
Oh shit here's my station and i haven't even started sleeping of maybe i should have
'I drove all night' of course that in it's new look and movement it's even better then
the train, oh well i've already arrived, nice talking 2 ya, bye !
- Yes i konw kinda confusining and hard 2 understand way of reviewing but i
couldn't help it BTW i liked more presets but i just couldn't fit them
- Overall : El-Vis VR is a must DL but not as the prevs...

I was continuously immersed by this! the feeling of virtual 3d was so strong. Take 'modern living 2' for example, though its not a new thing, you polished it in some ways so it creates a cool effect of DOF (depth of field.)
you've also done an amazing job in fleshing out new ideas here. this pack has the most colorful content compared to other El-Vis series! Thanks to Steven Witten's ColorMap APE!!
Its cool knowing that Oskar Fischinger firstly coined the concept of animated music. The Tower, Fog, Oriental, Zero G II are my faves among others. Off course, one of my faves is 'War'. I have no single problem watching this on winme or winxp platforms. Years ago, when i was developing avi presets on win9x I had difficult times with codecs. I believe that the culprit was not the codec itself but the inconsistent win9x OS. The only way to remedy this is probably to jump ship to newer OS.
Finally, muchos appreciatos for this pack!! AN INSTANT +FAV!!!

These are awsome as expected from the man who made some of the best AVS has ever seen. My favorites are galaxy caged sky and so many others especially the soundscapes. Fav from me. This is impressive and painstaking work. Great stuff.

i've been waiting for this pack like crazy, and i can't say i expected less. what impresses me the most is the high fps you keep with those amazing effects, and i agree with ~avs-king , you do your presets in your own special and unique way.
my faves are 'zero G II' (amazing scopes, but i don't know about the background), 'the tower' (just awesome), 'the fog' (realistic indeed), 'oriental' (again, amazing scope, but could use a better background), 'giger III' (don't know why, i just love it), 'constructor' (really stylish look, reminds me of snes starfox).
overall an amazing pack, hope to see more from you.

I always have an eye on the fps while setting up the presets. I try to keep the fps over about 16 fps on my system. Thats why some of the backgrounds and DMs are a little "simple" but then I didn't manage to find something fast AND complex.

Its a pretty damned good pack, I especially enjoyed Soundscape III.. the effect of transparent parallazing objects is great. The Fog is also a pretty interesting preset... the smoky effect is very neat. Coil is quite a nice examle of SSC modelling.. the 'glowy' object running through the torus is well occluded too. Lots of cool presets really... some interesting effects and some plain trippy visuals. The last preset is my favorite... SSC rocks!

Thank you for the FAV!
The "problem" with WAR is that this preset uses an AVI which seems always to be a little risk on some systems. I used the INDEO VIDEO R3.2 codec which turned out to run on most systems without problems. Perhaps this codec is not installed or damaged on your PC? Or perhaps you need the latest DirectX? Or...? I do not know. Sorry for that.
