Description
This is the twelfth painting for a book that I am illustrating: Messiah: The Greatest Sermon Ever Sung. It will be an illustrated guide to G.F. Handel's famous oratorio: Messiah.Isaiah 40:11 He shall feed His flock like a shepherd: and He shall gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in His bosom, and gently lead those that are with young.
Matthew 11:28-29 Come unto Him, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and He will give you rest. Take His yoke upon you, and learn of Him; for He is meek and lowly of heart: and ye shall find rest for your souls.

I think your Christian art is inspired as well as beautiful!
I like how you only let glimpse some feature and "half-hide" faces, so that I can "see" the eternal and present Jesus, not only the 2000 years one... and in other's people features also my feature... an history of salvation without confines of time, culture, place...
oh, well... this is only my opinion, I don't know why do you actually use to do this.
Anyway, this isn't only art, this is evangelization. Thank you.

It's a very difficult scene to realize, but the result is very convincing.

The portrait of Him as a shepherd has always been one of my favorite visuals of our relationship with Christ; however in almost all the artwork I've seen, both professional and amateur, He's portrayed as watching over the flock as a whole, very rarely have I seen Him portrayed as caring for the individual. I think your art is a good visual reminder of the intimacy that we should have in our relationship with Him.
