I love The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. 'Specially since the Zelda Collection disk I've got doesn't freeze whenever I play MM anymore. YEY! Now I can finish the game someday.This is Anju fanart. I dunno why but I like Anju (And Anju's mom and grandmother, Romani, Cremia, the bank guy, the Zoras and Indigo-Gos, Rosa sisters, that big turtle thing, Skull Kid, the Giants, running with the Bunny Hood on, swimming as a Zora, a buncha other stuuuufs). Whenever I see her in Clock Town, I think that she's cute in some strange way. I liked her character in Ocarina of Time too, but it's Majora's Mask that has the characters with lots of personality to them and that's when I really liked her the bestest.
I guess that she's thinkin' about Kafei, her fiance who's gone missing, in this picture, hmm.

she's a charming character with a touching story
she works at the town's only inn, as part of a family business including her mother and grandmother
she became engaged with Kafei a few months prior to the upcoming carnival, and the two of them made a promise to fuse together their masks of the sun and the moon at the dawn of their wedding day, to bless their marriage
however, shortly after their proposal, Kafei was cursed by the Skull Kid and transformed into the body of a child
even more unfortunate, while heading to the Great Fairy of Magic for aid, he was attacked by Sakon and robbed of his precious sun mask
ashamed of his loss, he left everyone behind and sought refuge in the backroom of the Curiosity Shop, waiting for the thief to show up
confident that his issues will be resolved by the second day prior to the carnival, Kafei writes a letter to Anju, asking her to meet him by the Laundry Pool
however, without Link's involvement, Anju bravely walks down to the backyard area, only to be let down by no one showing up...
having no further clue of her fiance's whereabouts, her mother tells her to let go and take refuge to the ranch with the others...

This is so sad! This really captures the melancholy, gloomy, and DOWNRIGHT DEPRESSING atmosphere of that game. Anju and Kafei's subplot was the best in the game by far. Great job!

do you mind if I recreate this in pen? I have an original concept for Anju, but I want to practice drawing her first and get the feel of her character. yours is one of the best fanarts of her I've seen, and I think it'd help me quite a bit. I will link back to this one if I ever post it.

A special collectors edition disk for zeh Gamecube. :3 It came out in March 2005. Majora's Mask was 1 of 4 complete games from the series that was on the disk.

Hehe, it's a fantastic game! Probably my favorite of the 3D Zelda games. (My favorite of all the stories in the series is "The Legend of Zelda")
Hmm, I could probably TRY to do a Kafei picture, yah. And later, a couples picture with them both being together. I'll have to get myself motivated enough to work at them, tho, which can be hard to do. xD That's why I haven't tried them already, toooo lazy.

The Stock Pot Inn was my home in Major's Mask. XP I always refused to leave it at times and so I knew what went on at what time without problems. It was such an addicting game.
That part was HARD though. I remember when I finally got the two together, I cried. I dunno if it was because of the touching scene or because after fifty tries, I finally got them together.

Heeee, another person who was in love with Majora's Mask! I also loved going to the Inn, just sitting around and following the people there, observing them, talking to them, it was so strangely interesting in a quaint, everyday-life kind of way, wasn't it? I liked everyone who was there, too. x) They all had their own brand of charm.
