The Eldians have just created a new weapon more powerful than the titans themselves, and they decide to attack the Marley empire with this new power. It's all about gigantism, another power the Eldians possess that enables them to become more powerful not only physically, but also in terms of size, than the classic titans, while retaining their original appearance. With Mikassa at the head of the coalition, who set out to destroy a large part of the Marley empire before the others arrived.

Mikassa: I've been walking for over an hour now, and I suppose for a normal-sized person it would have taken at least 3 days, but I've finally managed it, even though I think my feet stink at the moment...
