José feels that he's ignored by the Disney marketing machine. It's actually true since he's not considered a star among the Disney characters. Please give him a hug.
A big hug! Usually he's so cheerful awww.......A very nice simple picture. No fancy backgrounds that I usually create. Because I wanted this to be a simple pic this time around. ^_^ OH and if you guys haven't noticed I tried a new coloring style. My first attempt at coloring the linework of a piece. It was time consuming. X_X. So no cel-shading like you're used to seeing in most pics of mine.

I thought maybe he was crying that Disney took his cigar away in the '90s. I sure want to cry over it. And separating Panchito Pistoles from his Pistols? Seriously? Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed their House of Mouse guest appearances, but it's so obvious the writers were going "Okay, how can we have the Three Caballeros without the smoking or the guns? Or the world 'gay'?" Pffft.
God willing Jose and Panchito will show up more, and have their cigar and guns back.

Well I did just watch to rather amusing "House of Mouse" episodes with some good Jose plotlines. The writers seem to have noticed that he has fangirls and run with it.

This honestly makes me a little upset. Jose has been around since the mid-1940s and Disney doesn't even bother doing something with him. I loved him in the 3 caballeros when I was a kid. Oh Jose, how we all miss you.
