WOOBOI ALRIGHT FINALLY AFTER SHIT INTERNET CAUSING ALL UPLOADS TO HANG

So, right off the bat, AM and I wanna say how guilty we feel that Salt didn't show up often in this round. To be perfectly honest, we had a plot we already wanted to have happen in this round, but we also wanted to keep Salt as in-character as possible. Unfortunately, our plot didn't lend well to having Salt stick around very long (we even toyed with the idea of Salt making a big comeback during the fight with Pollux to help Talib and Katie, but we ultimately scrapped it because it wasn't in character for her, as we understood the character). We DID do whatever we could to make it so Salt was the inciting catalyst for the battle though, throwing Talib back down the incline into some of Pollux's flowers, after misconstruing Talib's instinct to help as an opportunistic attack.

That being said: We also wanted to leave Salt's fate as 100% open-ended, while also being, ya know, possibly creepy. If you want my head-canon, Salt is gonna come outta that weirdass door even more of a badass, possibly cyborg-- just to say, "Hey thanks for returning my hat, dude. Appreciate it. Bai." BUT, that's up to saikopomp on what they'd ultimately choose for Salt behind that door!

As for the vast dichotomy of quality in pages, we decided to work on pages in order of importance/impact this time. While we still ran out of time because I'm a dipshit, we think this is possibly a good way to work??? AM says it keeps the reader on their toes; "IS THE NEXT PAGE GONNA BE AMAZING OR PURE SHIT??? GOTTA READ TO FIND OUT!!"

Oh, and as for the reference to a "Mechanic" way back in the 1st page of this round + the quote that came up midway thru and at the end that Talib quoted-- there are 4 pages from the Audition that we haven't released yet (but we gave saikopomp our script so that they could work with the story as it were, so that it was fair), but we will be releasing those within the next day or two and then I'll edit out this comment-- hey, that's right, I'm talking to you Future-self, fucking remember to edit this shit. Coo thanks, self. Love, Past-self.
