Description Alright! Finally to the fun stuff!

Here's something I put together. It's the Dead Factory plastic card on a key chain from Resident Evil 3. You get it near the tail end of the game when you get the Dead Factory area. It's used to access the locker with the Rocket Launcher inside. What really sucks about that is you get it near the end of the game (unless that's the point the game was making... kinda a jab at the player). At that point, you already fought most of the bosses in the game save for Nemesis' final form. Would have been fun if you got it a little earlier... Oh well, the grenade launcher with freeze rounds is more fun to use.

Anyway, I used the game the as a reference for the bar code side and the main key card for the other side you don't see. I decided on a really simple design with the Umbrella logo would be good enough.

I got the idea to make it when I had a few spare keys- well one spare key. The other was a fake one that they send in advertisements for a car dealership or something. I don't know why I saved, but now I'm using as a part of prop piece now!

I just learned something new when I replayed through RE3 recently, that the Facility Key with the little card on the ring is actually useful for opening the door in the Dead Factory given that you take option to push Nemesis off the bridge and go through the front entrance of the Factory. I guess its just that I usually just jump off the bridge.

Absolutely wicked like a great idea well executed.

Thank you! I was on a roll when this idea popped up and I had a key and a few key rings that I didn't want on my main set of keys (with my car keys and house keys are on). The gold key on there was the one that started it all. Also, the four digit number is actually from the gold color key in the picture. The dead factory key picture in RE3 is just so obscure I had to keep the design, but make up my own numbers and words for the keycard portion. I had so much fun making this one and since it was at a time when I already a method to my madness in creating the keycard type of stuff, it was a breeze.

They seemed to have just come out so well. Like the roll you were on came out with some really awesome stuff. Just the sort of thing that would make my eyes pop out if I seen it on ebay. I wish Capcom brought stuff like this out

Ah! That would've been so cool if Capcom actually did make collectable props like that you see throughout the games! Thing is, there's lots of items from the Resident Evil games that would make for some awesome props/collectables.

Ah, the Dead Factory. How we will never forget the failed experiment pool... and the horrible digital water pressure diagnostic beepy panel thingy from hell.

I love that water check/tetris/musical lightbulb puzzle and all it's ridiculous glory. It wouldn't a proper Resident Evil game without those ridiculous puzzles.

I haven't played anything that followed Resident Evil 4 though. After I saw five come out with the same intentions as being an action shooter game, I gave up. Even Resident Evil 6 looks like absolute crap. Really bad walking animations and it seems to be all about the graphics.
