Well, this is some kind of a practice piece I made. I have an artist block on the Cruel Fairytales-pictures right now and felt like practising.I have a strong fascination with dread falls, especially colourful ones. The picture started of as some kind of “finger practice” for faces with glasses, but I ended up liking it, so I coloured it completely.
The hair is not really finished, but I don’t really know how to shade the dreads. Will have to think about that again.
The pretty lady in the picture is , of who I took the stock picture! Thanks to her for sharing her photos!
Done in Photoshop 7 + cybermaxx tablet. No filters, no effects.

personally, i really like the mix of shaded and unshaded areas (face and hair).
plus, dread falls are just neat.
