EDIT: I GOT A DD?!?!?!?!?! Oh my god. I cannot thank the community, particularly meimeiawesome for suggesting me and vanmall for featuring me! I'm literally sitting around crying and shaking. This is the best award I could receive. I never thought I would get a DD for something like this. I am not ungrateful in the slightest. Thank you all so much!!!!!!!!!

The colour scheme is a bit crappy in my opinion, but that's merely because I'm really into pastel colours. I genuinely think it's quite a success even though I only used about nine colours.Ā
I've worked on this for a series of weeks now, and I'm fairly proud of the result. While it is in no way accurate to the actual thing, the design is based upon Carson Mansion; a very pretty little house which is very grand in size - it's quite a stunning piece of Victorian architecture. The colour scheme is different from the mansion itself, with this one lacking as much colour (the real mansion is blue, actually!)

At the time I was a very big fan of Marina and the Diamonds (my username comes from her album "Electra Heart") and off of that album my favourite song is called Homewrecker. I was way more into her at the time, so that's why I ended up calling it Homewrecker. Ultimately, it has nothing to do with the piece itself other than a name more inspired than "Victorian Pixel House" or "Carlson Mansion Inspired Pixel House", haha. I suppose it was just my way of being "artsy" when I was sixteen.

Yeah, I did it pixel by pixel but that's not that hard part. It's always the limited palette because there is so much clashing ._. Thank you very much!

I like brown, but I don't like brown. It's pretty in art but so many of my clothes are brown I'm sick of it ._. I tried hard to keep the palette limited to creams and browns
