OMG, I know maybe it's not the idea, but a game with these graphics would look amazing. Reminds me of FF tactics for GBA or Tatics Ogre for SNES/GBA. The look of the houses looks similar to legend of mana for PS1.

don't worry, deviantart is as easy to fit in as Facebook

and suggestions? In case you wondering, I just free-hand draw all these out and do some lining based on the sketch. No other theory included though... Grid always seems to be helpful for people trying out isometric so be sure to use them when you sketch.

Again, I'm bad at explaining things so I hope that helps! : )

well, you should search deviantart for keywords like "pixel tutorial" though or go to some site like pixeljoint,etc...Β 

I can't really recommended you any as I haven't actually read any of them, I only learn by trying to mimic and change style from examples but learning by tuts could be less daunting for you though.
