Description Well, I'm not sure about this one, I think the brown under the eye is a bit much. It makes my eyes a bit heavy. Oh well, things to remember for next time lol

The brown does make your eyes look more earthy, but you used black liquid liner on the upper lid- unless I'm mistaken and it's actually brown. In either case, the colour on the upper lid is darker than that of the lower lid. It makes it look a little off balance, and using such light colours of shadow makes the liner stand out more, making your eye look heavy, as you suggested. But, hey, still incredible! The colours that you chose are gorgeous and blend well. I may do this for St. Patrick's Day next year, with your permission, of course. I love your art- it takes a truly brave person to use the skin as a canvas. It's not the most forgiving medium and it takes true talent to make it work. Your ideas are beautiful and you have the perfect features for modelling make-up. I'm jealous.

the liner on the top is actually brown, it's just a dark brown. The lighter brown on the bottom isn't a liner at all, it's a powder, just used for shading. I think I put it on too far down from my eyes giving the apperance of bags. The liner I used to line my waterline on the bottom is black (I couldn't use my brown becuase it has highlights of red, so if I used it, it would make my eyes look irritated). Please feel free to try it out yourself. thank you for your wonderful comments, but my mother get credit for the canvas I have to work with, they're her genes lol

Haha! Yeah, gotta give credit to good ol' Mom, who gave us our lovely skin and taught us to put on our make-up to begin with. : takes hat off and salutes :

My eyes aren't that great, so normally when I'm looking at make-up in the pharmacy, cause I'm poor and I have to buy the cheap stuff that gets clumpy and smudges, I have to have my boyfriend with me to tell me what colours I'm looking at. Otherwise I'll stand there for an hour going, "Is it blue or is it red?!? I can't tell if it's eyeshadow or blush!! Arg!!" ...And then I'll just give up.

Now that you've pointed out the colours, I can see them better. Stupid eyes... Still looks good, no matter what the colours are. I don't think that it gives the appearance of bags. There's a light shadow under your eye where the yellow blends and fades into the brown- I like it. No baggage- just beauty.

Well, my mom gets credit for my canvas, but she doesn't wear any makeup, so I'm really completely self taught lol. I would like to eventually take some classes and get some credentials though. Plus I want to learn a lot more about SFX stuff.

Don't discredit cheap stuff. You just gotta find the good quality cheap brands. I have some dollar store stuff that works just as well as some stuff I've gotten in department stores.

Thank you!

Yeah, I'm pretty much self-taught, as well. I can't say that I'm interested in pursuing credentials in said field of study, but it's only because I hate doing other people's make-up. They're too picky and cranky and quick to yell, "Hey, where are you putting that lipliner pencil? That's my eyelid!! Are you nuts?!?"

I prefer the cheap Dollar Store stuff, actually. It's easier to replenish my supply of eyeliner and shadows when I remember that it only costs a buck or so per shade.

Brown might be a bit misplaced, but the green and the orange are a really great combination.
