This is quite an old pic now. I don't really like it - well I think I don't But I've warmed to it slightly now, so now I'm submitting it here

This reminds me of a distelfink design in the Amish tradition. A longtime symbol of love, just like your conception

The Amish have a similar pattern, and as Savant is part-Amish heritage, we have a hex sign with it on our front door. Search on "distelfink" or "double distelfink" -- some are shown with long tails like this. Distelfink = thistle finch, that is, goldfinch.
Don't know where the German heritage of the Amish might have overlapped with the Celts; perhaps coincidence. Don't the Swedes have a motif like this too?
Anyway, I like the piece a lot and I'm sorry you don't.

The warm colours are lovely (Ack! The Word of Doom again!) and I like the festive feel. The choice of colours remind me of Yule or Christmas.

The colours are festive, and lovely. You could make those into Christmas cards and I'm sure they'd sell well, or jsut amke them into Christmas cards for your own use.

Why you do not like this i do not know.... (unless it's the plane white background). It is beautiful... with those 'earth' colours how could it fail!

Awwwww thank you! I've remembered the reason I don't like it - and actually it's really silly lol - when I was drawing it, I wanted to make the tails longer, and ended up having to curve them round slightly because of the size of the paper (I couldn't be botehred to start again on a bigger bit of paper!) So then I sulked a lot about the tails being bent ...
