Greetings, how have you been? Hope nice and swell.
Sorry for my absence, it was a general period for reflection, which I may inform you in the near future. As for now, I prioritize my study, both for university and art as well. Recently I got the feeling that my art got a little bit stale, even if I enjoy what I'm doing, so I sort of catch a rest and reflect on what may be improved. So, probably I'll be on hiatus for a while, if there isn't any good idea I truly want to draw and share.

I recently rewatched Madoka Magica, a staple of my teenage years and I still love it very much, just like I used to. I drawn Homura, my favourite character in the show, I really love her complexity and ambiguity! I hope that onw day she could finally catch a rest, possibly along with Madoka. I really want to tell you more about her, but it's impossible to show the reasons I love her, since I would basically spoil the show, which is still enjoyable and mind opening even at twelve years from its first broadcasting.
It's not often that I go moody with my drawing but when I do I enjoy it, even though I still prefer more ethereal aesthetics. I overall like this drawing as a concept and as a whole, even though I think I should have been adding more symbolism and I should have reduced Homura's torso and drawn her face altogether, since I really dislike it. I hope to draw Mami next, though, since she's a really close second!
