Eeeehee, they're all adorable! Though I imagine Neng to be more of the nervous sort: He's curious, but not always likely to welcome outside contact unless he can be sure the outsider means no harm. Qualats don't seem aggressive enough for him to get too worried. Other 'nophs are a little less tolerant of outsiders, of course. (They need to lighten up a bit. )Love the play-faced Qualat. So charming! And if you ever felt colored pencils to suit you for any project (though they aren't for everyone's taste) I highly recommend Derwents and Caran 'd Ache. They feel softer and yet more precise in my opinion. I do love the nice subtle color study here: I like how it feels defined and distinguishable, as well as very naturalistic. And of course, I still love their ears and forepaws/hands.

Ah, I see! In this case the Qualat would be the more cautious one. Well, at least I got the tolerance part right. Thanks so much for the nice words and the tip as well! Colored pencils tend to be harder on my arms than paint, so I don't think we'll be very close friends anytime soon, but I'll keep it in mind!

Very nice sketches.

Thanks! I really should sketch more often. Some internet time should be converted to sketching time, that would probably help.
