What's this? New art? Yes it's true!These are two characters from my next novel, Rise of the Dragon Star. Wingsisters always encourage each other, but sometimes it's frustrating to nudge someone out of their comfort zone.

this has to be the daughter of Halvden, I´m shure.
It would be really nice to have her play a bigger roul, I really liked Halvden. He actually became one of my favorites over time.

Ghee! Good question. No natural/our world bird to be honest. She is the daughter of two brightly colored gryfons, and their feathers carried over into her ^.^ Sometime I'll do a better..ehm...'realistic' depiction? Trying to capture how I see her patterning a little better...

In my story world, there are a portion of gryfons who received a ..hm..spoiler alert, sort of magical curse/blessing that turned their plain feathers into outlandish colors and hues. This carried on into the next generations. So you could say it's not quite normal for the world, but the gryfons have gotten used to it, and not all of them are like that

Ahh, yep, I knew about that! I just missed that it was “outlandish colours and hues” instead of the colours on folks like Sverin and Kjorn.

To be fair I imagine that green gryfess as more...jade, than the interesting sort of sea foam I ended up with here But she is the daughter of twooo very brightly colored gryfons. The quarterbloods' coloring can get wild
