I forgot to make a more deep praise for how you created and portrayed the character of Hikaru and the relationship with Shard.
Just extremely charming, with a series of choices that I rarely saw before: the fact that a chosen-one protagonist has to take a personal responsability to keep alive, and raise another being acting as a mix of stepfather and older brother. It has been a great choice, gifting some of the most memorable moments of the third book.
I could join the same interest that BittyKitty showed to you, even if apart the fact that I hope/expect to see more of Hikaru (or who know... many a son/daughter of him?), I would also be curious to see the reaction of many characters in knowing how Shard encountered Hikaru and the other dragons. This actually gave me ideas to making finally a small fun/fancomic for you Xp
