Great drawing of Shard, Ms. Owens. It came as a pleasant surprise to me when I learned you had a Deviantart account, and were a good artist in addition to being a fantastic writer. I came across SotSK while randomly browsing Amazon back in May, and I count myself extremely lucky to have done so. Bought both it and Skyfire and blazed through them both in a little over two months. Not since my years reading the Redwall series can I remember the last time I read through two novels in so short a time, they were that good and immersive.
I eagerly look forward to the third book and the trials it brings for Kjorn, Catori, Brynja, Caj, the Aesir, Vanir, and wolves of the Silver Isles and the Dawn Spire, and of course, Shard and his new charge.
