Searching for a solution to reduce the workforce that was needed to operate the power plants of their irradiated homeland, several scientists experimented on various insects such as cockroaches in hopes of developing a serum that supercharges the body and mind. While most of their test subjects died from the negative side effects, several individuals over-mutated, becoming feral before being killed with a single male escaping undetected. Overwhelmed by the volatile energy that was injected into his system, a cockroach that the facility named Skitterbite freed countless others before feeding on the core, causing a meltdown that destroyed the power plant. Uniting as one mixed supercolony, the never-ending swarm constructed multiple hives as their arrival infected the surrounding area, forcing many of its native creatures to move on. Fueled by their voracious appetites, the ever-growing population of mutant bugs threatens to consume the land as the Savage Roach keeps watch to eliminate any life that seeks to exterminate their kind.
