Growing fond of the quirky brainiac's company, Ike learned to develop various tools and weapons before creating a droid that he named Countdown. When the regiment's forces were overwhelmed by a surprise attack, the medic and the scientist worked together to drive away the enemy as the pair emerged victorious. Splitting up to join the fight while their companion stayed behind to improve the facility's defenses, the Molten Bombardiers act as the colonel's trump card to blow their foes to smithereens.
