Description
Primrose Everdeen from the Hunger Games. Except this is her in Mockingjay, the final book in the series. I felt she really got given a bit more character in this book and i became quite fond of her. I hope the way i've gone with this potrait makes more sense to those who have finished the book. How I went crazy on the blue tinges in it.I used Elle Fanning as a reference for this but mainly for the expressions. Elle Fanning is looking quite old these days! So i decided to make the cheeks fuller, the eyes bigger. [link]

Lord, how do you manage to paint such beautiful eyes? So amazing...
I don't understand the blue tints and their relevance to the story, but I can tell that they add a really heavy mood to the portrait, so good choice.
My only suggestion is that of an anatomical issue - although the girl is young, her jaw really should stretch a bit further down. Besides that, lovely work

I really love Prim, and I was horrified and a bit in denial when she died. I didn't quite believe it, expecting her to live, thinking that she somehow survived the explosions.
Anyway, great job with the face--she really does look how I pictured her in the books. As lovely as the description Katniss gave of her.

I know! I literally finished it couldn't sleep then a few days later was still like a bit in shock by the whole book and had to read it again! She was the only death though in the whole book that got more than a line though.

i love this, it is SO amazing. it would be absolutely perfect if her chin was just a little longer. that's just my opinion. however, it is still beautiful.

lol. I've done it once or twice. Seen art before i've read it. Was like that with the first book. Although i mean i could kinda guess the Peeta and Katniss romance early on. Not hard! lol. And i was pretty sure they'd both survive. lol. I just don't look at anything until i've finished now.

I actually had no idea there was going to be a romance between them and I didn't think Peeta would even be a main character in it. But that was the first spoiler I got for the series because I looked at the Hunger Games website and clicked the 'about the books' button and as soon as I started reading the blurb for the second book it said something about a romance between them and I was so surprised!
I'm sure blurbs arn't normally supposed to spoil previous books because anyone could read them!!!

Hmm yeah cause im pretty sure the normal one says like Katniss has survived the hunger games but still isn't safe or something like that- which really isn't giving away much cause you'd assume if there was a second book she lives to tell the tale.

Haha. I know. That's what it says on the actual book because most people looking at it already know everything about the story so far. But that's what it said on the website which I thought would have been trying to get people who haven't read any of them to want to read them.
