Description The full title is Mr. Puffer and Mr. Jelly's Splendid Holiday, a commission for the darling who gave me the title as a prompt, and let me run with it. I loved this prompt! I'd do a whole series of these guys.

Hope you like it!

Acrylic paint on recycled canvas.

"Liking" this is the understatement of the year!

I checked your updates just for the heck of it, and good thing I did! I am giddy in love with this painting!! Their aquatic airship? Genius! And I must say the two look quite dapper on this excursion--befitting of all distinguished sea creatures having afternoon tea in the savannah.

You took my expectations and blew them away. I just got off a long stint at of tending microbes at work, so I'm not articulate enough at the moment to fully express my love for this piece. Just know that I am happy beyond words.

Hmm...series...Yes, I agree wholeheartedly. I shall let you know when my piggy bank will allow for more commissions. I would love to be able to deck out my apartment with paintings of these two!

Thank you, thank you, a million thank you's. This has made my week.

Oh yay! I'm so glad you like it. I was, as I always am, a little worried that you wouldn't like it in the end, that it wouldn't be what you had expected, so it makes me really happy to know that you liked it. As soon as you gave me that title to go from, I knew there had to be a dirigible in there somewhere!

Ooooh, tending microbes sounds pretty cool, actually. Are you a biologist? Oddly enough, I just got another puffer-related commission from a biologist in Germany. I love to hear about science stuff.

Ha! Any time you want another, just say so!

Grad student at the moment, but I am a microbiologist. Right now I'm working in a lab with a periodontal bacterium, looking at what makes it bind to connective tissue and cause problems. Fun stuff, hehe.

Yep, I guess we bio-nerds love us some jellyfish!

I'm not good at acronyms... what's MMD mean? Maniacal Malicious Dame?

Love Mr. Jelly's design. Love it. Also, love the way you paint - there's so much detail in so little space. This is remarkable.

I FUCKING love this. Your giraffes are spectacular, your expressions, as always, are phenomenal, and that fucking reverse submersible (remersible?) is AMAZING. Who would even think of this! You would! And that's why it's so fucking great! Mr. Jellyfish is so debonaire.
