Chuchip -> "deer spirit"

I'm submitting this guy I did for my Computer Arts class (it was due today, so yes, it's not old homework this time), 'cause I haven't submitted anything in awhile and I haven't had the opportunity to do much else. Also, it's not fanart and that's always a bonus in my case.

What's not a bonus is the fact that I had to render this in Illustrator, and I hates Illustrator, precioussss. It's also been years since I've attempted to use the pen tool, so it's messy everywhere. Didn't shade this creature 'cause there wasn't time, I had too much other homework to worry about. Plus, I'll remind you, I hate Illustrator. 8D

As for the creature itself I've had various versions of this sort of deer demon monster in my head for years, although usually when I doodle him he's less human in body and more wolfish, runs around on all fours, and the face is usually longer and more menacing. Also I picture him as having more braids, beads, feathers, that sort of thing, because in my mind he oughtta have a sort of Native American spirit vibe to him. For this class though I just had to do what I could with the time given to me. Someday I'll try to design him the way I want him (and with hands that actually match). Until then~
