If they perceive, in other versions Antoine had only the empty scabbard, this is because the sword had not one design confirmed.
Ya ya! And a special thanks to Vincent Lovallo, Paul K. and Ian by the ideas of the cover, and in the developing of the character!

This is a really amazing cover! It looks just incredible and real!
Dang it is amazing how Sonic has still survived, because it brings a lot of sonic fans together and has a strong fandom, and things like this is one of those factors of the sonic franchise.
Keep up the good work! And gosh i haven't played a sonic game is so long because Sega and Nintendo work together now and no games go on the Xbox.
But it also looks like Sonic and Antoine are actually coming at you! Nice work with the motion that they're displaying! Nice job!

While looking unbelievably beautiful and detailed, this awesome work of art lacks originality.
This isn't really anything new and while that's really fine considering how much work was clearly put into this it does make me wonder how much more could be done with such skills...
I truly hope this technique will be used a lot in the future and I hope even more that it will be used for more unique ideas than just... this...
Well, enough about that... Now, here's what I think is awesome about this picture:
-Sonic and Antoine look really good. The shading is amazing and really makes them look realistic.
-The water is beautiful thanks to the work put into the reflections.
-I think it was a good idea to make the background a bit blurry so Sonic and Antoine stick out well.

Not trying to sound all lame but i preferred Antoine's old costume design with his blue army coat... tbh im just glad hes still around!
if its any help it would be really cool if he earns his blue coat in part of the series special issue as a symbol of him becoming a stronger character
