This is a stunning piece. I think her expression is both melancholy and serene. Is that possible. Like she's lost something, but it's okay because it's not gone forever. The lighting is utterly beautiful and the expression in her hands is exquisite. She has a dancer's hands, telling as much as her expression. She's setting something free. (and I love the simplicity of her dress. I want it.)
