And then the woman was off. From her chair she hopped, making her way to the fridge where she kept all her food. While she dug around, her adorable tail swishing about, Todd came out of his seat. He was a guest, he knew, but he never felt quite right about someone cooking for him.
He knew cooking could be a lot of work, he had to try it everyday, so his mind was made up.
As her face turned to his, asking her enthusiastic question, Todd approached, joining the woman at the counter.
"I do, but I'd like it better if I could help you." He was starting to roll his sleeves up. The cloth bundling above his elbow.
"So what can I do?" He asked, ready to assist, but then warned the woman with a smile. "I'm not the best cook."
