Jadeite is very much a kind stallion , he's always nice and soft while his sister always loud and bursting around . He's very charming and cool but when it comes to what he hate , he is absolutely a scaredy cat . And due to his dragon instinct , he would freak out and become pretty violent like breathing fire and scratching randomly . It's not easy to provoke Jade , he's very calm and look at everything his way . You hardly can pick up a fight with him since he find everything reasonable and just go with the flow , that's how he got of of all the trouble he cause when he was a colt . A playful boy at home make him looks like he's happy all the time but he was actually picked on a lot at school . He tried to keep calm and ignore their existence but they keep pushing him and crossed the line , he was said to have provoked a fight . He was out of control for days before he can go back to school . The kids were afraid of him , he didn't have any friend but after awhile , they start pick on him again , he chose to reason and stand up for himself by words and surprisingly , it worked . When Alexandrite , his little sister was born , he loves her a lot and always look after and straighten her to the right way he went

He loves his parents but obviously closer to Rarity , he's very hard working and a very excellent designer . Beside having parties at Canterlot , he help Rarity with her shop . She taught him many things about making dress and uniform and gotta admit he's quite gifted but he didn't used his magic much , all of his creation are hooves stitched and Rarity said that he'll be a very devoted stallion
Jadeite loves his little sister more than anypony , he always look after her no matter what . He silently teach her the way to fit in so even when Alex is 'weirder' than Jade , she didn't have what he had . He's aware of Alex's jealousy toward him about his appearance , he was more pony than she was and has magic like a unicorn but Jade never speak of it cause he thinks they're just the same . He also rarely use his magic to make her feel more comfortable
He is close to Aries , they share similar interests and somewhat alike personality . Since Jade was older and calmer , he sometimes guide the prince out of his nerve or burst . They usually meet on fancy parties in Canterlot and pretty that's most of the time they have a long talk with each others . Despite being close friends since they were young , their attitudes were always professional , no pony ever think they are anything beside business acquaintances .
He's also close to Cherie as a friend . They met through a party and really like each others . Jade thinks she's beautiful and elegant who will grow up to be very fine lady . As Fancy told her about Rarity being an excellent designer , she sometimes go to the shop and the two would take a walk around town and talk a lot
Lightning is just the guy he has a very hard time to stand while he really like the quiet being with Gold . Lightning is absolutely very annoying to Jade , all of those endless franks are out of Jade's mind . Despite his calmness and kind way , he'd get pissed off by Lightning and this is when Gold ease the 'pain' of his
