My pocket watch.I bought it for $4 at an antiques fair. It was so cheap because it wasn't working at the time and the lady didn't know if it was dead or not.
Turns out the gears were just stiff- once it was cleaned out, it worked perfectly (glass has to be replaced though...).
I asked the guy who serviced it if he knew anything about the watch- apparently it's over 100 years old and worth approximately $400.
