This is the fourth artwork I made for a series of illustrations of the book "A Little Princess". This is the scene were Captain Crewe banker; Mr. Barrow tells Miss Minchin, that Sara father has died, and left Sara a pauper. Captain Crewe diamond mine investment failed and his friend ran away. He died of sickness from worrying about Sara as a result.
