Description
This is a portrait that I drew for my friend Bear to give to his lovely wife. I hope that I captured them well. They were at an art exhibit if I recall. I wish them both the best in life. I used soft pastels.Related content

Wonderful detail on this! It's been interesting to see the subtle differences you've acquired in your changing technique the last couple years, and the different subjects. As much as I like the ladies, they seem to not show the personality your more recent works do. I'm excited for your next work! As you know why

The personalities you have captured are quite interesting--I'd like to know how close they are to the two in real life. She seems direct, a bit stern, slightly aloof, and someone I wouldn't want to disappoint. He seems a bit more mirthful/mischievous, like I could have just broken wind and he'd be sniggering about it...
They look great, and I think the Primitivist "flatness" of the background works well.
