Because death doesn't need to be an end.I had this picture planned for long but because school I never had the time to color/line it. I see tons of "flying fish" but I haven't seen any hybrid of fish and bird yet, so here it is. I hope you enjoy my picture :3

I hope to be posting new stuff soon, I admit I had huge difficulties with this drawing and wanted to stop it s344324324 time it, I hope it won't be the same for my next picture x_x

First of all, let me just say that this piece is absolutely breathtaking! The colours are brilliant, the painting style is masterful (and very aesthetically pleasing, to my eye at least), and the originality of the creatures portrayed is quite enjoyable.
Plus, who could ask for a better message? I know it may seem a bit strange to think of this, but this is how I would like to explain death to my children some day when I have them and they start asking questions about life. Death is what you become at the end of your life before continuing on to stage two in your journey.
I also quite enjoy those fish-bird things; they're beautiful and super cute, plus I've never seen anything like them before.
My favourite thing about this picture, though, is all the different contrasts going on. You've got the cold ground and the bright sky, the fish-birds and the ravens, the bones and the flowers; even that faun-creature has mismatching wings, and I love that!
I would definitely purchase a large print of this to go on my wall if I ever had the money for it. Sadly, I can't afford to buy art at this point in my life, at least I can still come here to enjoy some of it.

I love the soft touches of color you put in here and blending of color. Have you ever thought of trying to do oil paintings? This would look really beautiful as one. I also liked how you did the sky and moon and really love your background, though the ground and trees surrounding them, plant life, the wolf like creature laying on the ground could have had a little more details to them. The fish-bird hybrid is very unique. I would have added a little more details on their wings and body, unless you wanted them smooth like bat wings.

Whoa whoa...! I love the way you paint. What kind of digital brushes do you use? And how do you get that slight smokiness for the background?

I would give you the art school response with words like contrast, juxtapose, and balance, but I rather not beat around an unnecessary bush and tell you hopefully what you want to hear.
Such as I like your art and style and this picture makes me feel sadly fluffy when I look at it.

Incredibly beautiful. The imagination is astounding. That same imagination and wonder seems almost akin to Spirited Away in my opinion, with a touch of Japanese mythology (in regards to the fish and the overall art style).
