Rather yes. Does not bite. However, it is unusual predator of other insects.

They typically wait in ambush, and then hunt down other insects in flight, gripping their prey in their strong legs like a basket. I guess like an assassin taking out their mark. They then stab their mark with their mouthparts (proboscis) and paralyze it with a poison, before consuming it.
