This is gift art for who asked me to draw my interpretation of her equine based creature/species called Destria from her fan fic. I hope you like this! I finally got a chance to scan it...

I enjoyed planning and painting this creature. Before I started to make this final version, I drew a few quick sketches of horses, using some photos of Minna Tallberg as refs for the anatomy and poses.
Btw. those weird-shaped brown things are supposed to be some kind of boulders (my brother thought they were ants' nests, hehe...) I painted them because I thought the background would have been too empty looking otherwise.

I painted this with water colours on A4 sized paper.
