Because it's still summer I needed to draw something less dramatical and more happy than I did lately (blame JKR). So, I just sent my characters on vacation. I guess even my poor overstressed and mostly dark characters deserve a break from time to time. And I still love my greeeeeeeen phase(:
Characters from my story DollHouse - Ivory and Aleksander Rittenberg (yes, the good old Richard is gone, since I've changed his design and the story a little, but don't worry, it's still him).

I love the color scheme, and the lazy summer atmosphere! I can feel the heat and the humidity in the air, and see the sunlight filtering green through the leaves. It makes me wish I were sitting on our river dock with a good book, too, instead of embroiled in the last term-paper ridden weeks of school.
And yes, I think all our characters deserve a vacation once in a while, with all that we writers put them through sometimes.

Śliczne. Najchętniej złapałbym tego gościa za szmaty i wyrzucił go w te krzaki albo do wody, po czym niepostrzeżenie zajął jego miejsce. Pomarzyć dobra rzecz.
A tak bardziej serio, to miło, że jednak wróciłaś do tego tematu, bo przy całej mojej sympatii do Pottera, jednak do tej historii jestem szczególnie przywiązany (może z racji sentymentu, w końcu dzięki temu cię poznałem) i zawsze z radością witam każdą nową pracę z nią związaną. Zaś stylistyczny wielobój, jaki przy tej okazji uprawiasz, jedynie zwiększa przyjemnością oglądania kolejnych prac.
Bardzo mi się podoba dominacja zieleni, bo co tu kryć, to obok błękitu mój ulubiony kolor. Dzięki niej wszystko tu żyje, nawet jeśli mamy tylko dwie postacie i proste tło.

I just finished the seventh Harry Potter book and I was sooooo glad to FINALLY allow myself to look at your Hallows illustrations!! You seemed to have created the scenes which were my favourite!!

This is absolutely beautiful. I like Richard's up-date, even though I suppose it's not Richard anymore. The green and the earth-tones are a very suiting touch. It makes them seem very peaceful. Lovely job!

Beautiful piece, you've captured that lazy, sultry sense of summer gorgeously, with the pose and the colours. Nice brush work too, they actually fit nicely with the style of the image.
I love how he looks to be sneakily looking at her from the corner of his eyes too, that really speaks volumes about the character.
The perspective on the bottle is a little extreme to match the boarding, and she looks like she's in a slightly flatter perspective too, but it doens't detract from the image much at all, and is likely only to be noticed by picky objects like me.
But I do truly love the piece, makes me wish for warm weather and a lake.
