Full View?Note: Okay, the new catagory picker thing sucks butt. Why does is keep becoming more complicated? ._. Can't anime and manga stay together? Bah.
It -was- just Berii, but it was plain, so I added to it, and it become cluttered. Similar to the Ichigo one now, only the BG is cheaper, and instead of love interests, we've got ONE love interest and one... I dunno? A person to look up to as a more experienced senior (sempai).
To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of this one, but it was good for practice. Berii looks too old or something. I dunno.
And yeah, I drew this one so people could STOP favoriting the crappy double-left-handed Berii picture I drew ages ago that's...not that good? (That I moved into scraps and is still in the SE getting hits X_X)

I should do an article on that. Mostly I think it's because people see things one way and then they spread their opinions around, and then other people hear those opinions and it starts to twist Berii's character. For example, they hate her because she supposedly "replaced" Ichigo. Well, when you look at it fairly, RYOU SHIROGANE was the one who announced she would be the new leader - Berii was actually freaked about becoming a Mew Mew and worried about whether or not she could actually be a good leader. It's not like it's something she wanted.
Things like that.
Although, on the other hand, a series like Shugo Chara! rotates the supporting cast members - the guardians. I don't keep up with other fans that much, but I don't see them hating on the new characters much if at all, so it doesn't make much sense to me why Berii is hated so much.
Personally, I think Mia Ikumi wasn't ready for writing the script for the sequel, since Reiko Yoshida wrote for Tokyo Mew Mew. I don't think "a la mode" was done very well at all, and it could have been a ton better, but I don't hate Berii. :

this is really cute! ^0^! i really like the picture, althou you should REALLLLY! slow down when you color i see some spots. i dunno if the markers probley bled or something ^^ but take your time. the best pictures come out better when you take time on them.

I inked it before I colored it, so I probably went out of the lines a bit. And they may have bled, it happens. I really can't stop it from doing so sometimes.

Composition is lovely. ^^ The colors are so bright and pretty! I like how Tasuku and Ichigo are more subdued colors, it makes Berry pop out. :3 I can't get over how pretty you do eyes ^^ And man, your line art is so smooth ^^ I basically have to battle with pens. XD Traditional media isn't my thing, I suppose. Ichigo's hand and Tasuku's side profile are especially nice. ^^

Ooh, this is very nice! I love how Berii's hair is translucent and her pose is super cute! I think she does look a bit old, but I think it's just the style you drew the eyes in. Anyway, Ichigo and Tasuku look cute, love the coloring!

I agree that the way Berii's hair is partially transparent so that Ichigo's face can be seen looks really cool. My favorite part of this picture is Tasuku though.
