hm...this looks quite unsharp and blurry to me. And the high key effect looks like it's done through selection and removing background. Somehow this looks strange to me.

But a lovely expression on his/her face!

He's a boy. The watermark isn't helping here, because actually his nose and eyes are crisp and clear and it's only the edges that are soft focus. But this is one of my older photos, I'm sure it could be improved!
