Well, I've seen a lot of Dovahkiins here on dA, so I thought I'd throw mine into the mix!

This is Morgan, breton conjurer. (No last name. Really. I'm bad at that.) In order to improve her art she made connections with all manner of dangerous people, and was eventually forced to flee High Rock to escape pursuers. The next portion of the story you are quite familiar with, and know that all did not go as planned.

In Skyrim she meets old men with great power who do not use it, and mages who find great power but cannot wield it. She will profess loyalty to neither the Divines nor Deadra, but will serve either when it suits her purposes. All that 'Nord' business with the civil war holds little interest for her, though she can't help but feel hatred toward the dictations of the Thalmor. She trusts few, and her only 'companion' is an unbound dremora who has the misfortune of either remaining in the mortal realm with his human master or facing unspeakable punishments at the hands of Prince Dagon's minions.

And then somewhere along the line she grows a heart and saves the world.
