Much to my boyfriend's chagrin, God of War (and pretty much everything that involves hot, sweaty bloodthirsty-and-therefore-incredibly sexy Spartan warriors ie 300!!!
)has invaded and conquered my brain and shows no sign of upping camp and moving out anytime soon. Really do have an affection for Kratos, the main man in GOW. He's a complete ass and makes no apology for it, angry at Ares, the present God of War for not only manipulating him into killing his family, but also at Zeus for having the cheek of getting all uppity when Kratos gets just a TEENY bit power hungry as the new God of War. Some people eh? When i originally drew this, Rob was ELATED to point out that I had drawn the pecs a bit off kilter, so I had to edit that a bit in this final version. And yes, that is a photo of greece in the background that I've farted about with in photoshop because I'm poo at backgrounds. Sue me, yeah? (no, don't. I have nothing. It'll be a complete utter soul-destroying waste of yours AND my time.)

I like the colors and textures in this, and he seems really in character, his expression is just right. Nice job with the anatomy of the chest especially!
