Costographer completely nailed this shot of my GLaDOS cosplay at Fanime! We found this great section of the con center that was perfect for run-down Aperture Science. I’d consider it a success when I’m creeped out by myself xD
I opted for a game-accurate version of GLaDOS, which of course had to involve me hanging upside down. I built a 6-ft structure from PVC pipe, created a custom harness, and constructed the armor body from Worbla.

As many other people have stated, this is absolutely amazing. Indeed, I'm tempted to say that this is perhaps the best cosplay I have ever seen. Especially when I describe it to people, I have to clarify. "No, she didn't dress up as a human version of GLaDOS. She literally dressed up as GLaDOS. Hanging from the roof and everything." (Yeah, you're not hanging from the roof, but it's the easiest way to describe it.) I've seen dedicated cosplayers remaking some of the most insane and absurd outfits around, but this is something that isn't even an outfit.
I do have one question, if you should see this comment: I've seen the interview video, and numerous photos, and I still can't figure out: How do you see through the headpiece? Are you reduced to one eye looking through that yellow lens? Or is there some thin gaps in the headpiece you can look out of? I can't figure out how you could see, or how restricted your vision was through that.

I messaged your Facebook as well as here. Your GLaDOS is my favorite cosplay representation of my favorite character. I am about to make a GLaDOS cosplay of my own. Do you have any WIP photos of your helmet build? I don't think I would replicate it exactly, but I'd like to come closer to what you've done than anything else I've seen. Any help in pointing me to tutorials other than the typical quarter helmet eye cover thing that I always see would be SO appreciated.

I thought this was drawn or something, but golly gosh it is the best dang cosplay I ever did see! It really captures the feeling of Portal 2 very well, and is just so wonderful to look at. The detail is amazing!
