Description So this is it colored!!! WOOOO it didn't take a million years, like it normally does when I say I'll color something

And might I say how AMAZING I AM because that fire burst is COLORED PENCILS!! It all is colored pencils, as a matter of fact. scava/ earth's crystal was supposed to be an earthy rust and brown color, but it came out really dark. ah, well. Dora/ wind reminds me of EASTER!!! and shenaw looks cute. its all viney and stuff I like it colored, I think I just wish dark came out a little better. The swirls around the dagger are highlighted with violet and maroon. The Great Seal (see below) is colored with my metallic pencils . bronze sides, gold main beam structures, and silver V's at the ends. and the inside was shaded with a lighter silver, and it is shiny I did half of it in Starbucks with Fauna, and half of it on someone's patio (no I do not know who lived there) while Cor was tearing off their roof. They wanted him too, of course.

This is what is called an Egonoratore, symbolizing many things in Cor and My version of 'the game'. Basically, a boatload of lore put in one tiny nutshell, everything in the world is accompanied with chaos. every element, mood, gesture, event, has chaos, its the other side of the coin, the ying yang, the positive and negative, blabla. The world is half made up with chaos, to keep a balance with nature and the scheme of life. Before the egonoratore, the planes were too chaotic to use magic, and pretty much too chaotic to do anything, so Chameleon and The Wizard Who Has No Name created The Great Seal to put a handle on it all. The egonoratore was created at the same time theoretically, but not discovered until Mika Marle numbah 1, and he filtered magic through it and thus the great seal to be manipulated... basically, it is the reason magic can be used at all. it consists of 4 lines, creating a star shape, with 8 dots around it; every half of the line represents one of the eight elements. Starting most commonly with elu/ light (a lot of people start it with their own element, but it is seen a lot just starting with light, its easier for me that way haha), and going clockwise, next is cli/ fire, shenaw/ living, scava/ earth, edi/ darkness, ter/ water, zama, and dora/ wind. so thats what you see here only I was dying to make a PRETTY one, not just a bunch of ugly lines, that are usually not even and just a total mess... so I stylized it and everything!

Each element has an opposite, which can be viewed opposite from it, like fire and water, etc. Each person has all 8 elements, but two usually stand out the most, so that is what we call their 'main element' and 'sub element'. And there are a very, very, VERY few people that have a double major, where they have their main and sub in complete balance, and let me tell you those people are WEIRD, and that is NOT COMMON AT ALL so you guys have nothing to worry about. I think that their have only been like 4 or 6 people, EVER, to have this... all continents and planes of history included... yeah.

So light is represented with a lightning bolt, fire is of course a gust of fire, living is a bunch of vines and flowers and leaves, earth is a stalactite (the one from the ceiling) and a crystal as its 'dot' on the outside, dark is.... interesting. I was thinking something along the lines of tree roots, and yet alive like the way fire is, those who know are common with the way I draw darkness cause thats what Maxie uses, but I wanted it to be kind of eerie... so what you get is a combination of all of that, that kind of looks like evil ooze... and a dagger covered by darkness for the 'dot' at the end. water is a waterfall, with a drop of water as the 'dot', zama is MY OWN DESIGN , a type of celtic knot manipulated to be only one continuous line (I looked up celtic knots, found a design I kind of liked, and changed the way the lines formed the overall shape so that it was all only one line and could continue to make more of that overall shape) and a simple celtic knot at the bottom for its 'dot', and wind is a gust of wind.

I'm sure you guys know basics about the elements, water is calm and protection, fire is aggressive, earth is unchanging and slow moving but powerful, blabla.... but zama and shenaw might be a bit confusing cause its new to probably every viewer of this deviation (and if its not, lets chat ). As you all know, everything has these elements in them, we need all 8 to survive, no element is superior than another, all are equal and some are opposites. Zama is basically patterns and geometric shapes in things. think of a plant. made up of earth, shenaw (which we will get to next), needs light and water to survive, if you know plants in more detail you'll know the different ways they react to darkness and wind, fire is self explanatory LOL, and in this example zama would be on the cellular and molecular levels, the way the cells form the structure, and the way the molecules connect in different bonds to create those structures. Zama is specific patterns. If it is not in that pattern, it will not work, it is like the natural order in things. Back to water, it floats because it is less dense... because of the crystalline structure the molecules take due to freezing... water would not float if the H20's didn't spread out and create that particular pattern.

and shenaw, or living, is basically that. it is the force of things being alive, generally who have that element as their main are very gifted at healing, and are good with people and/or animals.

the dark's dot gave me trouble, haha. I didn't know what to do with it! Cor said a cloak, or a cloak on the floor, but I didn't think those would look good LOL. it would be too tiny, or you wouldnt know what it was! but I didnt want it to look too much to wind, or to fire... so Its a little more smudgey than I like, but thats ok. and its covering a kick butt dagger.

I think dark is my favorite. that one and zama, cause I'm proud of it. and light. it looks better if you flip it though HAHA. but then water would look weird.... anyway, Imma cover it, and I hope you all like it!! now you guys get the meanings from the other drawings in my gallery, like the symbolism of dragon mountain, or the random signets on random clothes or swords and stuff, mostly on Corlath though
