(2021) 4" diameter, Delica beads (silver-lined purple, silver-lined lilac, alabaster lilac, pale yellow ab, bronze), size 15 seed beads (24k gold), Fireline

I took the design of the winged triangle from my recent pendant and used 20 identical components to make a dodecahedron. Each triangle is edged with small gold seed beads, however, I used the first 4 seed beads to lace up the tips of each of the triangles in a pentagon arrangement until I got a see-through sphere. The gradient and the petal-like arrangement of the bead wings reminded me of meadow saffron or crocus blossoms.
